Launching genevany.info

It's alive!

As of July 15, 2024 the "alpha" version is live.

genevany.info is a citizen data site based on public data sourced from Ontario County, NY.

I created this site for a number of reasons. Most of this information is available elsewhere, however either the form or the organization makes it difficult to find and/or use.

• PDF files are convenient for distributing visual information to multiple media, but they're suboptimal for everything (have you tried zooming in on a PDF? on a mobile phone?)
• you have to know where to find and combine the disparate data
• there should be a simple of way of identifying the who, what, and where associated with your address

The goal is an easy-to-use, mobile-friendly site that allows anyone in Geneva to quickly access:

• anything you need to know regarding local and state representation
• anything you need to know regarding voting locations
• ELECTION INFORMATION (including WHO is running for WHAT in YOUR DISTRICT and WHEN)
• structured and aggregated financial information
